The development team of ZeniMax Online Studios officially released the latest DLC, “Shadow Over Morrowind,” in “The Elder Scrolls Online” in 2023. The new story will send players back to Morrowind and start a new adventure.

Shadow Over Morrowind will tell a story across multiple content releases, beginning with the “Scribes of Fate” dungeon DLC planned in March. The storyline will continue in the “Necrom” chapter, which will be released in June. Most excitingly, the team also announced a new playable class, the Arcanist, launching with the Necrom chapter in June.

Necrom Chapter

After the release of the “Scribes of Fate” DLC, ZeniMax Online Studios has revealed the next chapter of The Elder Scrolls Online, called Necrom, which will be officially launched in June this year.

The “Necrom” chapter will provide 30 hours of all-new story content, allowing players to explore two great new regions in East Morrowind, accompanied by two new companions.

In addition to the new areas, the Necrom chapter will also feature something that players have been waiting for, a new playable class: the Arcanist. The Arcanist will be the seventh class in ESO, bringing powerful new abilities and mechanics drawn from Hermaeus Mora’s realm of Oblivion.

The release date for the Necrom chapter on PC/Mac is June 5, 2023, and on Xbox and PlayStation consoles on June 20, 2023.

In these two unique “Necrom” regions, many unique characters, stories, and challenges await adventurers!
