Tree of Savior (TOS) is a free massively multiplayer online role playing game developed by IMC Games. The game was developed by Kim Hakkyu, creator of Ragnarok Online while the game's music was done by SoundTeMP, the same team known for their soundtracks in Ragnarok Online and Granado Espada. TOS is based on traditional Lithuanian culture and mythology.

Tree of Savior was first revealed at Hangame Ex in 2011 under the code name "Project R1". The game was posted to Steam Greenlight on May 12, 2015 and approved in less than 10 hours. The International version was released through Steam as a Founder's Early Access game on March 28, 2016, with the game releasing as a free-to-play title on April 28, 2016.

Grind endless numbers of cute creatures, across a multiple zones with fairy-tale atmospheres. Crawl through dungeons to upgrade your gear and encounter one of over 200 uniquely designed bosses, requiring teamwork to defeat. Join a guild and engage in large-scale warfare with other players, rendering no zone safe from enemy attacks. Or enter the arena and test your skills. Craft new items and power up existing equipment to gain the upper hand on the battlefield.

Tree of Savior's major combat revision, which IMC Games has been teasing for a few weeks now, is now live. The patch introduces a new damage calculation formula, a reworked attribute system, changes to enhancements, three new hunting grounds for players of level 280 or higher, changes to the way that monsters are graded and the amount of experience they provide, and much more. There are pages upon pages of patch notes, which you can find here.

IMC Games is ringing in the new era of Tree of Savior with a brand new website. The website looks far more modern and easier to navigate than the previous website.

Not one, but four events have also gone live alongside the combat revision. One event is intended to help new players reach 100 by providing them with Boost Packs at various level milestones. Another gives returning players a "Welcome Back Gift Box," which will provide them with daily rewards on upwards of ten days. Yet another will give players items in exchange for listening to an NPC's stories. The last event will provide players with rank, skill, and stat reset items once each day for the next two weeks.

Additionally, all players can claim a "Goddess Lada's Present" from the Steam store. Goddess Lada's Present is a new, free DLC pack that includes a 7-day Token, a Simple Costume Box, a 30-day Imperial Fan, and a number of other items.
