We should be happy that ArenaNet has finally stated Guild Wars 2 will be out before the end of the year. That sounds like some good news to us.

I agree with everyone that a game’s core content, especially an MMO, should be massive. Guild Wars 2 will have multiple stories for you to experience for the storyline, and your character’s own personal story. A good MMO should be able to survive for years. Guild Wars 2 apparently does have a ton of content, but it's going to need a boost in time.

How do you think about micro transactions? Maybe someone think this is bad, or maybe someone like this. Anyway, it is the presence of truth.

Guild Wars 2 limited beta test began at 02-17-2012! ArenaNet had a nice system for Guild Wars where they used micro transactions to sell mission packs. ArenaNet has said that they will be using micro-transactions for Guild Wars 2, but they didn't want players to have an advantage over others just because they spent a few extra dollars.

A new ArenaNet blog pop up revealing that the limited beta test for Guild Wars 2 has begun! Hundreds of invited players and press from around the world will be logging into Guild Wars 2 for a beta test weekend of high adventure, exploration, in-depth personal stories, and teeth-rattling combat. Almost everyone at ArenaNet will be logging in to take part in this weekend's beta and playing with all the lucky beta testers.
