November's Top 10 MMORPG List in North America

At the end of November, the bitter cold air swept away the withered leaves, the bare trees like electricity poles inserted in the dry, barren ground, chilly and lonely. Only few pedestrians moving slowly can be spotted through windowsnext to me dimmed with indoorvapor. My padded coat proved again that the best way to keep warm is to stay in office, equipped with wool-lined gloves and thick scarf.

One kind of cold feeling exhorted repeatedlyfrom mom is not cold, its love.

One kind of hungerfeeling mentioned tautologically by grandma is not hungry, its care.

One piece of article appeared monthly on mmosale.com is not cut-and-dried; it’s our MMORPG list in North America.

November's Top 10 MMORPG List

1. Elder ScrollsOnline (↑1)

Elder ScrollsOnline

This first socket is taken up by ESO, the July’s winner which ranked top three in previous months. Let'sgive it a warm applause to its success . Patch 1.5.2 Changed, Forward Camps have been completely removed from the game. This isn’t the first time ESO has removed an item directly from the game. What does this change mean?

With the removal of forward camps players no longer have it in the back of their head that if they die they will be able to resurrect close by and get back into the combat right away. Now players will have to resurrect at a keep that is not being sieged and is owned by their faction, placing a lot more strategy into the player’s hands. Which keep will we take? Which keep will we fall back to if we encounter resistance? Which keep will cause the enemy to have the longest ride back to the fight? These are just the basic questions players are going to have to ask before running out and laying siege to a Keep.

2. ArcheAge (↓1)

ArcheAge

The number two comes to ArcheAge, it has been pushed down by ESO in this month, maybe partly because players think that the Aurorian Upheaval is not as attractive as it supposed to be.

3. World of warcarft (↑5)

World of warcraft

The arrival of Draenor has shown the world that World of warcraft still has strong vitality. It again provides much surprises for their ferventplayers worldwide as was expected and ignite their passions on the journey to new world.

4. Guild Wars 2

Guild Wars 2

As to Guild Wars 2, Special offer playedan important role in keeping players interested in November. Sales with 30% off character Slot Expansions, Upgrade Extractors, and storage Expanders, available only through November 27. By this way, Guild Wars finally remain unmoved on this easily changeable list with the support of its fans.

5. Final FantasyXIV: A Realm Reborn (↓2)

Final FantasyXIV: A Realm Reborn

For those players who want to have a new name, the coming of Character Renaming Service at the beginning of this month is trulygood news. Patch 2.41 introduced the first phase of the Echo to the Second Coil of Bahamut, as well as address several known issues.

6. Star Wars: Theold republic  (↓1)

I have heard about lots of negative criticisms about this game and know little about Star Wars: The old republic; maybe it was born to be a game not easily accepted by new players.

Star Wars: Theold republic

New “Revan Returns” Trailer:

Lead a team of iconic heroes into battle against Revan in the new story-driven Digital Expansion, Shadow of Revan, launching December 9th!

Adventure through five new levels of story-driven Star Wars™ missions, reach new heights of power at an increased level cap of 60, explore savage new worlds and fight in new high-level Flashpoints and Operations.

By the help of the following Class changes, we hope it will have a good performance next month.

7. Rift  (↓1)

With a few reservations, Nightmare Tide has been an amazing expansion. Trion has taken RIFT forward in so many areas:

Rift

Although the latest expansion looks good, it still have no evident features which can grasp the players’ eyes. Too much similarities with other games is its fatal weaknesses.

8. WildStar  (↓1)

WildStar, the former champion on this list slid down too much on this list. As we know, the video game industry is always busting with fierce competition. Although it had a glory beginning, this game becomes more and plainer as time pass by. To keep players interested in the flowing days, some changes needed to be done immediately

9. EverQuest (↑)

EverQuest 2

Happy birthday to EverQuest !

EverQuest is a 3D fantasy-themed massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that was released on March 16, 1999.As a classic 15-year-old game, EverQuest still have lots of fans who grow with it from EQ1. Everquest 2 is the most complete package when it comes to MMOs and offers everything you would want from one. EQ2 sports a mature and friendly community, something you will definitely not find in World of Warcraft or Guild Wars (especially Guild Wars because rules are loose and not enforced) Furthermore, EverQuest continually releases regular updates, both large and small, along with expansion packs that are fun and make sense as the next step of the game. It is a great game to play.

10. TERA: Rising (↑)

In this month, with the help of Fate of Arun’s Bathysaml Rise Revealed, TERA: Rising brings lots of new features to players and climbed up to number10.

Perhaps the most challenging new dungeon in Northern Arun, Bathysmal Rise is home to new bosses who employ a variety of new abilities and tactics to test teams of the most seasoned TERA players.
