Diablo IV – Welcome To Hell

Following its debut at BlizzCon 2019, Diablo IV has made significant efforts to combat various predictions and misleading information and has finally entered its beta-testing phase in March. Mmosale has gathered and compiled a wealth of information about Diablo 4 for your convenience. However, please remember that Diablo 4 has not been officially released yet, and many aspects remain unknown. Moreover, there is a possibility of further changes in the upcoming months.

Diablo IV Overview

Diablo IV is a role-playing action game developed by Blizzard Entertainment, and it is a sequel to the previous games in Diablo 3. The game’s timeline begins a few decades after Diablo 3’s Reaper of Souls ends.

In Diablo 1, 2, and 3, players must stop Diablo, the Lord of Terror. In the fourth episode, the world of Temple faces a new threat: the demon Lilith, a powerful demon and the daughter of Mephisto and Mother of Sanctuary. After a grisly ritual, she returned to the Sanctuary, and her plans for the world remain unclear. The details of the scene are not yet well defined, but there is no doubt that it will be faced at some point.

Diablo 4 Classes

Here are the five classes in Diablo 4:

*Barbarian

*Druid

*Necromancers

*Rogue

*Sorcerer

Barbarian

The Barbarian has unparalleled strength and expertly wields an entire arsenal in battle, with a weapon for every occasion. He bellows intimidating war cries and unleashes ground-shaking slams to send approaching hordes reeling.

Druid

The Druid is a savage shapeshifter, fluidly transforming between the forms of a towering bear or a vicious werewolf to fight alongside the creatures of the wild. He also commands the power of earth, wind, and storm, unleashing nature’s wrath to devastating effect.

Necromancers

Necromancers are cunning summoners that conjure vengeful hordes of the undead. Their Essence flows into three powerful bastions of Bone, Blood, or Shadow to bring low their enemies.

Rogue

The Rogue is an adaptable, agile warrior who can specialize in ranged or close quarters combat. She can best any foe with her imbued weapons, perform powerful combo attacks, and can augment her arsenal with deadly poisons and shadow magic to slay demons with impunity.

Sorcerer

The Sorcerer shapes the elements into whatever form is necessary to ensure victory, from hurling bolts of lightning, impaling her foes upon jagged spikes of ice, and raining flaming meteors down from the sky.

Does Diablo 4 Have Open World PvP?

Diablo 4 will indeed have Open World PvP.

It has been confirmed that PvP in Diablo 4 will be optional and neither be canceled like Diablo 3 nor open like Diablo 2. The PvP area in Diablo 4 will be called “Fields of Hatred,” where players can engage in PK battles with each other. However, it’s not just PvP battles that players can participate in in this area. There will also be PvE activities, such as various plot practices and boss battles, which players can work together to complete. The catch is that they must avoid killing each other first.

Once players enter the “Land of Hatred,” they can earn rewards called “Shards of Hatred” in multiple ways. These shards are a powerful currency in Diablo 4 that players can use to purchase unique items, clothing, weapons, and mounts from specific merchants.

Rules on exchangeable items & Microtransactions

Blizzard has decided not to reintroduce Diablo 2’s free item system, which allows the exchange of any item. The game will use a system similar to Diablo 3, but without the auction house sales.

All objects between one of the following 3 categories:

*Freely tradable: This category includes mainly craft components and consumables.

*One-time exchangeable: Interesting items that the owner can only change once.

*Non-exchangeable: The most powerful items can never be exchanged.

Diablo 4 will benefit from a season system, just like Diablo 3. Every season offers a fresh set of missions with a new character. In addition, there will be both paid and free season passes that offer exclusive cosmetics and in-game currency that can be utilized in the store.

Rest assured that the in-game store in Diablo 4 will exclusively offer cosmetic items, so players cannot purchase advantages in the game. Although XP boosts will be available in the season pass, they will be free for all players and linked to achieving certain milestones.

Therefore, Diablo IV shouldn’t be a “pay to win” game, meaning that spending real money won’t get your character better equipped. Blizzard also wants players to know what they buy in the Diablo 4 store. This means there will be no loot boxes.

Let’s wait and see.
