April's Top 10 MMORPG List in North America

The long cold winter is over. Spring has come and the trees are putting forth new leaves. Flowers in parks start blooming in a riot of color. In this beautiful season, let's continue focusing on the latest top 10 Mmorpg list in North America in 2015.

top 10

1. Elder Scrolls Online

Elder Scrolls Online regained the number one. It still has huge appeal and potential to for players worldwide. The graphics and plot in this game are quite good as well.We hope next month it will have a better performance with the player’s support.

Elder Scrolls Online

Until The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited hits consoles in June, expect that the team’s focus will be on fixes, picking up some pieces dropped in previous updates, and new ventures like crown store items (some new pets just arrived). For PC players, this lull had plenty of advance warning. It’s still a good time to revisit some of the changes promised before and yet to come. Last week’s ESO Live show featured the team answering some questions from the forums, as usual. One thing stood out in light of where the game stands now. While the Champion system was rolled out in greater form in update 6, the Veteran Rank system still coexists with the new system, despite plans for its eventual removal. The team is keeping VR removal on the slate, but as of now, there’s no indication of when this will happen. Also, everything associated with VR that would have to be addressed, like gear, would need to change. Given that this new system change wouldn’t be a content update, one can presume it will be a free addition down the line, but it prompted a look back at some of the things the team has yet to apply to the game.

2. Guild Wars 2

Guild Wars 2

Guild Wars 2 comes in again in this list as second place in April, Guild Wars 2 one of the top-selling PC games of 2012, Guild Wars 2 is a high fantasy 3D MMORPG that is very polished and fun to play. GW 2 features a dynamic game world, personalized storylines, and innovative gameplay. The area quests are particularly nice. In most games you start quests by talking to an NPC. In Guild Wars 2 as you explore the world dynamic events are triggered and your character is seamlessly inserted into the story. For example, as you are walking by some NPCs they will suddenly be attacked by giant spiders. You can either run away or help them. If you help you get exp and loot, plus if other players happen to pass by the event they can also help you out and all of you will receive the rewards. This makes for very good immersion and cooperative game play.

3. Star Wars: The old republic

Star Wars

Star Wars succeeded in knocking down Final Fantasy XIV this month and got the number 3. This game ranks very highly on most star wars fans’sfavorite list. You can choose to play as either Jedi knight or Sith Warrior or other classic Star Wars roles to write your own life story.

4.Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (↓1)

Final Fantasy XIV

Final Fantasy XIV dropped 1 place from last month to be the 4th in April. It has amazing HD graphics, movies and sound. It is so immensely popular that at launch date there were long queues to log into the game. Don’t worry; all such server issues have been fixed now. It has the classic Final Fantasy monsters, an interesting story, beautiful cities/landscapes, a dedicated player base, and an easy learning curve.

5.World of Warcraft (↑2)

World of Warcraft

The No.5 is World of Warcraft. World of Warcraft still going strong after all these years, WoW is the top Western MMORPG in terms of popularity. It’s a great game and the one that most MMO gamers play when they want a smooth, reliable experience. If you want to just try it out then go to battle.net and you can play it for free up to level 20.

6. ArcheAge(↓2)

ArcheAge

ArcheAge dropped two spots and ranks in the sixth places. Its circuitous development on plots and unvarnished realistic style graphics arouses great curiosity and enjoyment of the readers.

7.Crowfall

Crwofall

The Crwofall, a newly released game, ranked 7th on this list. It obviously made a good showing largely for its Concise and fashionable style and good 3D graphics.

8. The Secret World (↑2)

The secret world

The secret world rose two spots to finish 8th. Most MMOs are fantasy titles set in a cartoony world but not The Secret World. In this game players explore modern-day cities such as London, New York and Seoul. A great game for people who love conspiracy theories and horror themes. The dialogue, story and writing is quite fascinating, too. The main quests are cinematic, fully voiced and fun.

9.WildStar

Wildstar

Wildstar distinguishes itself from others for its American cartoon style and with an intriguing sci-fi plots.

10. RIFT(↓5)

One of the highlights of Rift is its classes system. The novel soul Attunement allows nearly unlimited customization. The player is able to choose an Ascended Soul which is combined with a class. In the beginning, the souls are still very weak. But as the player gets stronger the souls will also get stronger and the player will gain further access to their special abilities. Easy to play!
